Key Benefits

AFFORDABLE

  • Design procurement and construction processes are used which reduce build cost without compromising quality or sustainability.

SUSTAINABLE

  • Sustainability is a fundamental part of the design concept. A passive, ‘fabric first’, approach, where construction cost is best allocated for maximum benefit. Healthy living environments are key consideration of the design and specification of the housing. The housing is ‘sustainable by design’.
  • Eco-Res schemes have been recognised by a series of awards including sustainable outcomes, bench marked through BREEAM or HQM assessments. The Eco-Res team were responsible for the first accredited ‘Passivhaus’ scheme in England in 2010.

ADDAPTABLE

  • Housing is designed to facilitate internal change during its lifetime, to respond to changing demographics or living requirement. All internal partitions are non load bearing, walls and floors are designed as service zones to enable reconfiguration. Giving building a long and useful life is one of the most sustainable things we can do.

FAST BUILD

  • Using of site manufacture for the building shell and an innovate construction approach, significantly reduced construction programmes can be achieved. This reduces construction overheads and preliminaries and delivers housing much faster than conventional constructions.

QUALITY

  • Off site manufacture enables a consistent standard of product and high quality construction. A major part of construction is taken into controlled factory conditions where quality can be more easily managed.
